Latest TSC List Of Transferred Principals & Deputies In All Counties. The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has recently implemented a series of principal transfers across various counties in Kenya. These strategic moves aim to enhance educational leadership and improve school performance nationwide.
Murang’a County Transfers:
In Murang’a County, 23 secondary school principals have been reassigned to new institutions. Notable changes include:
– Kanjuri Secondary School: Fredrick Maina Murage has been appointed as the new principal.
– Kiairathe Secondary School: Jane Nyambura Mwangi takes over as the new head.
– Mihang’o Secondary School: John Kinyua Gakuya assumes leadership.
– Ngurwe-Ini Secondary School: Simon Wanyoike Muiruri is the newly appointed principal.
– Ikundu Secondary School: Rosemary Wangui Irungu steps in as the new head.
The handover process in these schools was scheduled between December 31, 2024, and January 6, 2025, under the supervision of sub-county directors.Â
Central Region Transfers:
In the Central region, several principals have been moved to different schools to bolster educational standards. Key transfers include:
– Kiamuruga Secondary (Kirinyaga): Leonard Maingi has been transferred to Mugoiri Day Secondary.
– Rwathia Girls: Lucy Muriithi takes over from Fresia Wangui as the new principal.
– Ngurwe-Ini Secondary (Kandara):Â Peter Mwangi moves to Gititu Secondary, with Simon Wanyoike Muiruri from Kamirithu Secondary in Limuru replacing him.
– Gatuanyaga Mixed (Thika East): Irungu Wangui transitions to Ikundu Secondary in Murang’a South.
The handover in these schools was also scheduled between December 31, 2024, and January 6, 2025, as directed by Murang’a County Director of Education, Annie Kiilu.Â
Kisumu County Transfers:
In Kisumu County, several principal transfers have been effected to strengthen school leadership. Notable changes include:
– Kisumu Boys’ High School: Duncan Otieno Owiye has been replaced by Austine Muma from Ringa Boys High School in Homa Bay.
– Nyabondo Boys’ High School: Gabriel Onyango Jura has been succeeded by Jared Ochieng from Boro Mixed Secondary School in Siaya.
– St. Alloys Reru: Bernadette Nanjala Jumah is replaced by Catherine Akinyi Sewe from Bungoma.
– St. Albert Ranjira Mixed: Peter Wafula Aswani has been succeeded by Willis John Ochieng from Got Agulu in Siaya.
