Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has been named the most searched local personality in Kenya for 2024, according to Google’s “Year of Search” report released on December 10. Interest in Gachagua spiked in October following his impeachment, which dominated national headlines. The former DP was removed from office on October 17 after a majority of Senators supported a motion citing 11 counts of gross misconduct.
