Documents Required for RecruitmentÂ
Applicants must provide the following original and photocopied documents:
1. National Identification Card.
2. Certificate of Registration as a Teacher.
3. Proof of service as a teacher intern (if applicable).
4. Diploma/Degree Certificate and accompanying transcripts.
5. KCSE Certificate (and certificates for any resits, if applicable).
6. KCPE Certificate (and certificates for any resits, if applicable).
7. Proof of payment for the Statement of Results confirmation by KNEC (if applicable).
8. Primary and Secondary School leaving certificates and testimonials.
9. National Council of Persons with Disability (NCPWD) Card (if applicable).
10. Sworn affidavit for any discrepancies in submitted documents.

Qualification Requirements
1. Graduate Teachers
Applicants must have a KCSE mean grade of C+ and C+ in two teaching subjects, or two principals and one subsidiary pass at A-Level. They must also hold one of the following:
– A Bachelor of Education Degree with two teaching subjects.
– A Bachelor of Science/Arts Degree plus a Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE).
– A Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Education and Extension.
Teachers with C (Plain) grades in KCSE may qualify if they meet additional criteria, such as completing a Diploma in Education or a pre-university course before December 31, 2015.
2. Diploma Teachers
Applicants must have a KCSE mean grade of C+ and C+ in two teaching subjects or an equivalent qualification. They must also hold a Diploma in Education from a recognized institution.
Special consideration is given to teachers who graduated in 2008 or earlier with C (Plain) grades, as well as hearing and visually impaired teachers.
