Apply Now: TSC Announces 5690 New Positions For Teachers . The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has announced the recruitment of 5,690 teachers for senior roles in primary and secondary schools, with applications open until Monday, November 18.
This hiring drive includes 755 Principal positions for secondary schools. To qualify, applicants must have served as Deputy Principals or Senior Masters for at least six months and have positive performance ratings. Additionally, TSC seeks 816 Deputy Principals with a minimum of three years as Senior Masters, emphasizing leadership skills in mentoring and supervision.

The TSC also plans to fill 1,208 Headteacher roles in primary schools to address the ongoing teacher shortage. Candidates for Headteacher roles must have held the position of Deputy Head Teacher II (TSC Scale 9) for a minimum of three years, meet appraisal standards, and show capability in supporting and mentoring colleagues.

Additionally, 2,911 Deputy Headteacher roles will be filled across primary schools. For these positions, candidates must have served as Senior Teacher I (T-Scale 8) for at least three years.
