– Vice-Chairperson:

– Must meet integrity and leadership standards as per Chapter Six of the Constitution.
– Members:
– Kenyan citizenship and a degree from a recognized university are required.
– 10 years of professional experience in the field.
– Must also fulfill Chapter Six requirements on integrity.
Disqualification Criteria
Applicants are disqualified if they have held political office in the last five years or are currently a candidate for public office. Other disqualifications include bankruptcy or previous removal from office due to legal violations. Former political candidates are eligible once two election cycles have passed.
Term and Benefits
This non-renewable, six-year term requires full-time dedication, prohibiting appointees from holding other roles for profit. Salaries and benefits are established by the Salaries and Remuneration Commission, with further details shared with successful candidates.
