The Kenya ICT Action Network (KICTANet) is thrilled to announce a whopping 10,000 job vacancies** for qualified Kenyans! This initiative is part of a groundbreaking project titled “Strengthening Digital Communities,”aimed at enhancing digital skills across the nation.

KICTANet, a key player in ICT policy and regulation, has partnered with the UK Government’s Digital Access Program and various local government bodies to create these opportunities. Selected applicants will take on the role of Community Digital Champions in Mandera and Busia, where they will be instrumental in delivering the ICT Authority’s Foundational Digital Skills curriculum to their communities.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Community Digital Champion, you will:
– Provide hands-on training on foundational digital skills through one-on-one and group sessions.
– Build capacity and mentor community members.
– Track progress and report on the effectiveness of the training program.
Qualifications Needed:
– A diploma or degree from a recognized institution; a certificate in ICT is a plus.
– Commitment to attending training sessions and engaging with at least 100 community members
– Access to a stable internet connection and a digital device (smartphone, tablet, or laptop).
– Proficiency in local dialects alongside English and Kiswahili.
