KNEC Examiner Training Applications Now Open . KNEC Examiners For KNEC Exam Marking Training Opens.
The Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) has announced the upcoming training for Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examiners. This training will take place from August 18 to August 24, 2024.

Training Fees and Payment
KNEC has set the training fee at Sh10,500. Only shortlisted applicants will need to pay this fee. Notifications about payment will be sent via SMS and through the KNEC portal.

Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the KNEC examiner training, applicants must:
– Be practicing teachers in the relevant subject areas at the examination level.
– Be registered and/or employed by the Teachers Service Commission (TSC).
– Hold a diploma in education or higher.
– Have at least three years of teaching experience.
– Be free from interdiction or disciplinary action by the TSC.
– Provide recommendations from the head of their institution.
– Be 50 years of age or younger.
Application Process
Interested teachers can apply through the KNEC examiners’ portal. Here’s how to do it:
1. Access the Portal : Go to [KNEC Examiners Portal](https://examinersapp.knecacke).
2. Login:
– If you have a CP2 account, use your username and password to log in.
– If you forgot your password, click on ‘reset password’, enter your mobile number in the format (2547*****) and submit to receive a new password.
– If you don’t have a CP2 account, click on ‘Create Account’ and follow the instructions to get your login credentials.
3. Complete Your Profile: After logging in, fill out your personal profile and save it.
4. Apply for Training: On the dashboard, click on ‘apply for training’ to see all available vacancies and make your selection.
 Important Notes
KNEC has highlighted that training slots are limited. Only those who meet the qualifications and submit all required documents will be shortlisted. The training will be strictly residential, and the venue will be communicated later.
Teachers already trained as KCSE examiners and listed in the KNEC database do not need to apply again.
