TSC Job Groups Salary Exclusion .
TSC Job Groups Salary Exclusion . List of TSC Job Groups Excluded from July Salary Increase
Introduction
The recent implementation of the first phase of TSC salary raises for teachers has left many eagerly awaiting the upcoming July salary hike. However, not all teachers are poised to benefit from this development, with some facing the disappointment of no increase in pay.
Impacted Job Groups
While several teachers across various job groups are set to enjoy higher paychecks, thanks to the latest signed collective bargaining agreement, others are not as fortunate. The Teachers Service Commission, in collaboration with the Kenya National Union of Teachers, successfully negotiated the first CBA, resulting in full implementation and salary increments for teachers.
Involvement of Other Unions
It’s worth noting that other unions were also involved in the CBA signing process, including the Kenya Union of Post Primary Education Teachers (KUPPET) and the Kenya Union of Special Needs Education Teachers (KUSNET).

Following a recent salary review, some job groups found themselves excluded from the pay rise, missing out on any salary increments. Among these excluded job groups were C4, C5, D4, and D5.
