KCA University’s Climate Initiative . KCA University and UK Universities Climate Initiative: Collaborating to Address Climate Change Challenges.
Climate Resilience Partnership
In collaboration with the British Council, KCA University initiates a programme aimed at addressing security challenges through joint efforts between universities and partners in the UK and Kenya. This comes as the climate change in Kenya leads to heavy rains that has caused serious floods.
University Collaboration
Engaging Longo University, Strathmore University, the University of Nottingham Business School, the University of Portsmouth, and Imperial College, this partnership pools resources to confront climate issues.
Financial Support
KCA University secures KSh 6 million from the project to contribute to its implementation. This funds will enable university to run this program freely.
Education and Design Laboratory
Convening in Nairobi, the inaugural 5-day Learning and Development Program unites 20 students from KCA University and the University of Nottingham Business School to devise innovative solutions to climate challenges. This is a great achievement that KCA university had made in recent years .
