Salary Structure for Promotions:
Here is the updated remuneration based on TSC salary and allowances for those promoted to job groups C2, C3, C4, and C5 upon deployment to their new stations. Below is a list of salary increment according to groups.
Monthly Basic Salary per Job Grade:
– C2 (Job Group 7):Monthly basic salary ranges between sh 34,955 and sh 43,694 with 6 notches.
– C3 (Job Group 8):Salary varies from sh 43,154 to sh 53,943 with 6 notches.
– C4 (Job Group 9): Monthly basic pay ranges from sh 52,308 to sh 65,385 under 7 notches.
– C5 (Job Group 10):Teachers receive a salary between sh 62,272 and sh 77,840, falling under 7 notches.
Monthly Allowances For TSC Teachers per Grade:
– Commuter Allowance: Rates vary among job groups: C2 – sh 5,000, C3 – sh 6,000, C4 – sh 8,000, C5 – sh 8,000.
– Disability Guide Allowance: Teachers in special schools receive sh 20,000 monthly across all job groups (C2 to C5).
– Annual Leave Allowance: All teachers receive sh 6,000 monthly for annual leave across job groups C2 to C5.
– House Allowance: Payment ranges from sh 6,000 to sh 35,000 monthly based on the teacher’s location.
– Hardship Allowance: Compensation for teachers in challenging areas: C2 – sh 10,900, C3 – sh 12,300, C4 – sh 14,650, C5 – sh 17,100.
