School Reopening Delayed Again . Government Postpones School Reopening to May 6.

The government has announced a delay in the reopening of schools. It has now scheduled for May 6, 2024. Education Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu cited the adverse effects of ongoing floods on certain institutions as the reason for the postponement of school reopening after the April holiday.

Machogu emphasized the need for safety measures before resuming learning classes. This highlights the risks to students and staff in flood-affected areas. He stressed the importance of protecting lives amid severe flooding conditions across Kenya.
