Introduction:

If you’re a teacher under the Teachers Service Commission (TSC), filling out the Teacher Performance Appraisal and Development (TPAD) 2 online form is essential. The streamlined TPAD 2 site offers various features like account setup, lesson observations, password recovery, and self-assessment.

 

Logging into Your TPAD 2 Account:

1. Go to the TPAD 2 portal: [ https://tpad2.tsc.go.ke/auth/login](http://tpad2.tsc.go.ke/auth/login)

2. Enter your TSC Number, ID Number, and Password.

3. Click ‘Log in’. Forgot your password? No worries. Just click ‘Forgot password?’ for a reset.

 

Navigating to the Home Page:

Upon logging in, you’ll land on the Home Page, providing an overview of all key activities available in the system, including ‘My Dashboard’ with options for Self-Appraisal, TPD, and Appraisal reports.

 

Starting a New Appraisal:

1. Under ‘Self Appraisal’, select ‘Self Assessment’.

2. Click ‘Self Assessment’ to initiate a new appraisal.

 

Creating a New Appraisal:

1. On the ‘Self Assessment’ page, click ‘Create New Appraisal’.

2. Fill in your appraisal details like Appraisal Year, Term, and Eligibility.

3. Choose your eligibility status (on duty or not) and provide reasons if necessary.

4. Click ‘Save Appraisal’ to finish.

 

Updating Teaching Standards:

1. After creating an appraisal, rate yourself based on achievement levels for each target per standard.

2. Select the standard type corresponding to your institution.

3. Click ‘Update Standard’ under ‘Teaching Standards’.

4. Choose the appropriate standard category and proceed.

5. Enter details for each target, including weight attained, gap category, comments, and upload evidence if needed.

6. Click ‘Submit Rating’ to save.

 

Completing the Appraisal:

1. After updating Teaching Standards, proceed to update Learners Progress and Lesson Attendance sections similarly.

2. Save your progress as needed.

3. Submission is only possible if no incomplete appraisals exist.
