KCPE and KCSE Certificate Collection:

The Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) has requested all candidates to collect their certificate. This is to the students who sat for the 2022 KCPE exams to collect their certificates from their schools. Similarly, 2023 KCSE candidates are encouraged to pick up their result slips from their respective schools.

 

Distribution Notice:

KNEC has announced that both the 2023 KCSE result slips and 2022 KCPE certificates have been dispatched to the schools where the exams were conducted.

Action Required:

KCSE/ KCPE candidates and their parents or guardians are advised to promptly visit their schools to obtain these vital documents. Any concerns regarding the exam results or certificates must be raised within 30 days of issuance to avoid penalties.

 

Appeals Process:

Concerned individuals should address their issues through the Heads of Schools and the Sub County Directors of Education. Failure to submit appeals within the stipulated 30 days will result in penalties.

 

Examination Statistics:

In 2022, a total of 1,230,588 candidates sat for the KCPE exams, all of whom qualified for admission to Form One under the government’s 100 percent transition policy. The 2023 KCSE exams witnessed a 2% increase in candidates compared to the previous year, with a total of 899,453 candidates.

Registration for 2024 Exams:

The Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) portal is currently open for the registration process for the Kenya Primary School Assessment (KPSEA) and KCSE exams for 2024. All primary and secondary institutions are required to register all eligible candidates before March 29, 2024. Schools should log onto the KNEC portal for specific examination guidelines and candidate information loading using the school’s registration password.
