Online Portal for P1 Teachers.The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) launched its online portal on Monday, February 19.

Introduction:

The Teacher Service Commission TSC has invited  teachers to apply for deployment to Junior Secondary Schools (JSS). This move aims to address the shortage of teachers in Kenyan  schools. The online application period extends until March 18, 2024. This  offers primary school teachers an opportunity to apply.

While the exact number of recruited teachers remains undisclosed, TSC encourages eligible primary school teachers to apply for available positions. Interested teachers must have achieved a minimum of a C+ mean grade in the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) and a C+ grade in two teaching subjects during their Kenya Certificate Of Secondary Education (KSCE). Additionally, they must have completed at least eight units in each of these subjects. Applicants must currently serve as primary school teachers under TSC.

To simplify the application process, TSC advises interested teachers to utilize the commission’s online portal. Through this platform, applicants can complete the necessary steps and provide their details. It’s essential for candidates to follow all the instructions, attach all the required documents, and submit their applications via the online TSC portal.
