   Introduction:
Over the weekend, the Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) issued a directive instructing all participants in the 2022 Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) to retrieve their certificates from their respective schools. Simultaneously, the council encouraged candidates who participated in the 2023 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) to collect their result slips, emphasizing that schools where the examinations were conducted had received these documents.
Distribution Instructions and Timeline
In a statement, KNEC conveyed that schools had received both the 2022 KCPE certificates and 2023 KCSE result slips for distribution to the candidates. The council urged candidates, along with their parents or guardians, to promptly visit their schools for document retrieval. Emphasizing a strict timeline, KNEC specified that any concerns or grievances regarding the examination results or certificates should be raised within a 30-day window following the issuance of the certificates.

Upcoming Exams and Registration Deadline
KNEC recently initiated the registration process for the Kenya Primary School Assessment (KPSEA) and KCSE 2024 exams. In this regard, the council directed teachers to ensure the registration of all eligible candidates before March 29, 2024. The registration process mandates examination centers to log onto a designated platform for each examination and enter candidates’ details using the school registration password, as per the directives from KNEC.

These measures by KNEC aim to streamline the retrieval process of certificates and result slips while emphasizing adherence to timelines. Additionally, the announcement sets the groundwork for upcoming examinations, ensuring a smooth registration process for both teachers and students.
