Leaders in Nyamira County are urged to refrain from politicizing the establishment of Nyamira’s upcoming university, particularly regarding its location. West Mugirango MP Stephen Mogaka criticized the ongoing disputes among Nyamira leaders. Mogaka emphasized on the importance of avoiding such petty politics in the education sector.

Mogaka expressed gratitude to the President for granting Nyamira its university. He  considered it as a significant achievement in Nyamira .He urged leaders to prioritize the future of the younger generation over political agendas, emphasizing the need to avoid politicizing the education sector.

Addressing the issue during the distribution of cheques to over 800 university students in Nyamira town, Mogaka dismissed the debates on the university’s location.
